Cyprus has announced its squad for the Nations League matches: 27 players and three debutants ahead of the game against Armenia

The Cyprus national team has announced its squad for the first four matches of the 2026/27 UEFA Nations League campaign. Apostolos Mantzios' side is one of Armenia's opponents in Group C2.

The Cyprus squad includes 27 players. Three footballers have received their first senior national team call-ups — Marcus Edwards, Leonidas Konomis and Nicholas Tsaroulla.

Cyprus will begin preparations for its September-October fixtures on September 21. The team will play four matches in the space of 11 days.

On September 25, Cyprus will face Montenegro away from home, followed by another away match against Latvia on September 28. The team will then return home, where it will host Armenia on October 2 at the GSP Stadium. Kick-off is scheduled for 19:00. Cyprus will also host Latvia on October 5.

Yerevan's Pyunik striker Yasonas Pikis was not called up despite his productive start to the Armenian league season. The 25-year-old forward has scored four goals and provided three assists in seven matches.

The most notable newcomer in the squad is Marcus Edwards, who plays for English club Burnley. Along with him, defenders Leonidas Konomis and Nicholas Tsaroulla could also make their senior international debuts.

Armenia and Cyprus will meet on October 2 in Nicosia. The other two teams in Nations League Group C2 are Latvia and Montenegro.
