2025 Judo World Championships: Full Results by Weight Category and Medal Table

On June 19, the individual 2025 Judo World Championships concluded in Budapest. Athletes from 93 countries participated in the tournament, including one representative from Armenia — Ashik Andreyan (60 kg).

Judokas from six countries won gold medals, while athletes from 20 nations stood on the podium.

Japan topped the medal table with six gold medals. Russia finished second, and Italy placed third.

At the end of the tournament, it was announced that the next World Championships will take place from July 9 to 16, 2026, in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.

Tomorrow, June 20, Budapest will host the Mixed Teams World Championships, featuring 16 countries: Austria, Azerbaijan, Brazil, France, Georgia, Hungary, Germany, Russia, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, China, South Korea, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.
