Mkhitaryan’s Final Month: Henrikh Could End His Career with Two Trophies

Henrikh Mkhitaryan, one of the best Armenian footballers in history and the former captain of the Armenia national team, could play the final matches of his professional career in May.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter have abandoned the idea of extending the contract of the 37-year-old midfielder. It is reported that Matteo Darmian, Francesco Acerbi, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Yann Sommer and Stefan de Vrij could leave the Milan club after the end of the season.

For Mkhitaryan, the current season could indeed be his last. The footballer had previously hinted that he would not want to continue his career in another country if Inter did not offer him a new contract. His family feels comfortable in Milan, while his son trains at Inter.

At the same time, theoretically, Mkhitaryan could consider an option with another Italian club, but there is currently no information about such a possibility. Therefore, Inter’s upcoming matches could be the final games in the Armenian midfielder’s career.
