Armenia vs Russia: Results of the U19 European Youth Boxing Championship Finals in Yerevan

On November 9 in Yerevan, at the Mika Sports Complex, the final day of the EUBC 2025 European Championship for Boys and Girls Under 19 took place. Two U23 women’s finals were also held, while the remaining bouts in this age category are scheduled for November 10.
Following the tournament, the special “Best Boxer” awards were given to representatives of the Russian national team — Kristina Borisenko (up to 54 kg) and Platon Kozlov (up to 60 kg).
Russia’s Dominance in the Women’s U19 Category
In the U19 women’s division, the Russian team showed complete superiority — winning in all 12 weight classes. Armenian athletes claimed three silver medals.
Results in the Men’s U19 Category: Russia vs Armenia
The Men’s U19 finals were the highlight of the day: in each of the 13 bouts, there were either Russian or Armenian boxers in the ring. The final tally:

Russia — 8 gold medals, 1 silver, 1 bronze

Armenia — 4 gold medals, 5 silver, 4 bronze
Belarus captured one additional gold.
Out of the five direct Armenia–Russia finals, only Vagharshak Keyan (54 kg) succeeded in winning for Armenia, defeating Arsenii Zhiltsov.
