25-year-old Armenian wrestler Arman Andreasyan (70 kg weight class) claimed the silver medal at the 2025 European Championships in Bratislava, Slovakia. In the final match, he lost to Russia’s David Baev with a score of 1:4.

He was world champion in 2019, after which he temporarily left the Russian national team but made a comeback to once again stand atop the podium.
