Legia Warsaw are ready to part ways with Armenia national team midfielder Vahan Bichakhchyan during the summer transfer window. The Polish club are rebuilding their squad ahead of the new season and have included the Armenian footballer on the list of players who could leave the team if a suitable offer arrives.
According to Goal.pl, Legia are hoping to receive around €900,000 for Bichakhchyan. This is the amount that could satisfy the Warsaw club in potential negotiations over the transfer of the 26-year-old player.
Bichakhchyan joined Legia in the winter of 2025 from Pogoń Szczecin. At the time, the transfer of the Armenian winger cost the capital club around €250,000. His contract with Legia runs until December 31, 2027.
Last season, Bichakhchyan made 35 appearances for Legia in all competitions, scoring 5 goals and providing 2 assists. In total, the Armenian footballer has played 50 matches for the Warsaw club, registering 5 goals and 3 assists.
Bichakhchyan also has considerable experience in the Polish league. Taking into account his matches for Pogoń and Legia, he has made 126 appearances in the Ekstraklasa, scoring 17 goals and providing 13 assists.
Vahan Bichakhchyan has 46 caps and 6 goals for the Armenia national team. Transfermarkt values his market price at €700,000.
Legia failed to qualify for European competitions, which has affected the club’s budget and transfer strategy. The team’s new head coach Marek Papszun has started rebuilding the squad, and Bichakhchyan could become one of the players to leave Warsaw this summer.
