Kilikia’s Opponents Confirmed for UEFA Regions’ Cup Intermediate Round

The opponents of Armenian amateur side Kilikia in the intermediate round of the UEFA Regions’ Cup have been confirmed. The Armenian representatives will face teams from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Wales and North Macedonia.
UEFA’s official website has confirmed the participants in Group 1 as well as the match schedule. All of Kilikia’s intermediate-round matches will be played in Zenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina, from September 2 to 8.
Kilikia’s opponents in the UEFA Regions’ Cup
Kilikia will begin the round against Zenica-Doboj, representing Bosnia and Herzegovina. The match will take place on September 2.
In the second round of matches on September 5, Kilikia will face the Welsh representatives, South Region. The team’s original Welsh name is Tîm Rhanbarthol Y De, which translates as “South Regional Team.”
Kilikia will conclude its group campaign on September 8 against North Macedonian side OFS Bitola.

Kilikia successfully advanced from the preliminary round
Kilikia qualified for the intermediate round of the UEFA Regions’ Cup following a successful preliminary-round campaign in Yerevan, held from June 16 to 20.
The Armenian team won both of its matches and finished first in the group. Kilikia opened the tournament with a convincing 5-0 victory over Lithuanian side Tera before defeating Estonia’s Hiiumaa 2-0.
Advancing to the next stage became the best result achieved by an Armenian representative in the history of the UEFA Regions’ Cup.
Kilikia will now continue its European campaign in Zenica, where the intermediate-round matches will take place from September 2 to 8. The Armenian side will face Zenica-Doboj, South Region and OFS Bitola.
