European Figure Skating Championships 2026 kick off in Sheffield: first results

On January 14, the 2026 European Figure Skating Championships officially began in Sheffield, Great Britain. On the opening competition day, medals were contested in the women’s singles short program and the pairs short program.
Women’s Singles (Short Program)
After the short program, Estonia’s Niina Petrõkina took the lead with a score of 70.61 points. Belgium’s Nina Pinzarrone is second (64.97), followed by Italy’s Anna Pezzetta in third place (64.85).
