Georgia Wins Gold in Pairs at Euro 2026
The European champions in pairs skating are representatives of Georgia — Anastasiia Metelkina (20) and Luka Berulava (23). The duo, who have represented Georgia since 2023, claimed their first European title of their careers.
The Georgian pair confidently won both the short program and the free skate, scoring a total of 215.76 points and earning two small gold medals at the championships.
Previously, Metelkina and Berulava had already reached the podium at the European Championships, winning silver at Euro 2024 and bronze at Euro 2025.
Thus, their victory in 2026 became a logical continuation of their steady progress on the international stage.
