Armenian club “Noah” achieved an impressive away victory in the first leg of the Conference League play-off, thrashing Slovenian side “Olimpija” 4:1.

The main hero of the match was Moroccan midfielder Imran Oulad Omar, who scored a hat-trick. Croatian striker Marin Jakoliš added another goal, while Portuguese winger Hélder Ferreira provided two assists. Ivan Durdov scored the hosts’ only goal.

The return leg will take place on August 28 in Abovyan, where “Noah” will aim to secure their advantage and qualify for the tournament’s group stage, which would be the second consecutive appearance for the Yerevan-based team.

Thus, the Armenian club redeemed itself after the recent elimination from the Europa League by Gibraltar’s “Lincoln” (on penalties) and is now one step away from a historic achievement.

“Noah” lineup for the match:
Čančarević — Boakye, Muradyan, Silva, Sualehe — Eteki, Sangaré (90, Oshima) — Ferreira (90, Thórarinsson), Oulad Omar (73, Manvelyan), Jakoliš (63, Pinson) — Aias (63, Mulahusejnović)
