Van force extra time with stoppage-time equaliser and reach Armenian Cup quarter-finals

Van came from behind to beat Gandzasar in the Armenian Cup round of 16. The match in Charentsavan ended in a 2–1 victory for the hosts after extra time.
Thomas Rocha put the visitors ahead a minute before half-time. Gandzasar held their lead until the closing moments of normal time but were unable to see out the win.
Petros Avetisyan equalised with a precise long-range strike in the 90+2nd minute, sending the tie into extra time. Bukari Kone then scored the decisive goal in the 110th minute to secure victory and a place in the next round for the Charentsavan club.
Van joined the Armenian Cup quarter-final line-up alongside Mika, who had already secured their place in the last eight.
