Armenia national team midfielder Eduard Spertsyan has been named the best midfielder of the 2025/26 Russian Premier League season.
Spertsyan won the award at the Heroes of the RPL ceremony for the fourth consecutive year. Since the introduction of the award, in 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026, the best midfielder prize has always gone to Eduard Spertsyan.

The Armenia captain will no longer play in the RPL next season, which means the award will have a new winner.
In the 2025/26 season, Spertsyan became the league’s top assist provider with 16 assists. He also scored 13 goals. After the end of the season, Spertsyan left Krasnodar and joined Saudi club Al-Ahli.
