On October 26, in Novi Sad, Serbia, the third day of the 2025 U23 World Wrestling Championships in freestyle wrestling took place. The finals were held in the 57, 70, 79, and 125 kg weight categories, while competition began in four more categories — 61, 65, 86, and 97 kg — where the finalists were determined.
Four wrestlers represented Team Armenia, but all were eliminated from medal contention. Two of them — David Margaryan (70 kg) and Khachatur Khachaturyan (125 kg) — competed in the bronze medal matches but lost. Thus, Armenia concludes the tournament without any medals.
On the third day, world titles were won by two wrestlers from the USA, and one each from Azerbaijan and Iran.

Team Standings After Six Finals
After six completed weight classes, the USA and Iran lead the team rankings. However, since only one American wrestler will appear in tomorrow’s finals, the battle for the top team position remains open.

On October 27, the tournament will conclude with the finals and bronze medal matches in the 61, 65, 86, and 97 kg categories.
