On May 30 in Leipzig, the 2025 European Artistic Gymnastics Championships held finals in five individual apparatus events. Medals were awarded in the pommel horse, rings, and floor exercises for men, as well as the vault and uneven bars for women.
Armenian gymnasts won three medals across two apparatuses: Hamlet Manukyan became the pommel horse champion, Mamikon Khachatryan claimed silver on the same apparatus, and Artur Avetisyan took bronze on the rings. Gold medals were also won by athletes from Germany, Turkey, Greece, Great Britain, and Belgium.
The true hero of the day was 17-year-old Armenian gymnast Hamlet Manukyan, who triumphed at his very first European Championships. However, the most intense competition came in the rings final, where gymnasts from Turkey and Greece shared the gold medal with identical scores.
