Tsarukyan will help Chimaev prepare for his fight with Strickland

UFC middleweight champion Khamzat Chimaev has revealed who will be by his side during his upcoming title defense against Sean Strickland. According to the fighter, one of the strongest representatives of the lightweight division, Arman Tsarukyan, will be in his corner.

Chimaev noted that Tsarukyan not only helps him stay focused ahead of important fights, but also knows how to lighten the mood. Khamzat admitted that the Armenian fighter often lifts his spirits with jokes, including conversations about burgers and other funny things.

“Arman Tsarukyan will be my cornerman. He always says that we should eat burgers and all that. He makes me happy,” Chimaev wrote.

The title fight between Chimaev and Strickland is scheduled for May 10. The bout is expected to take place at UFC 328 in Newark, New Jersey, USA.

For Chimaev, this will be another defense of the middleweight championship belt. He remains undefeated in his professional career, with 15 wins and no losses. Twelve of Khamzat’s fights have ended ahead of schedule.
