Hayk Khloyan defeats Olympic champion Musa Evloev at tournament in Yerevan

Armenian Greco-Roman wrestler Hayk Khloyan claimed a major victory at the Benur Pashayan International Tournament, which is taking place in Yerevan.
In the 97 kg weight category, Khloyan faced Olympic champion and two-time world champion Musa Evloev in the Round of 16. For both wrestlers, it was their first bout of the tournament.
The match was extremely tense and ended with a 3:2 victory for the Armenian wrestler. The decisive moment came with 18 seconds remaining, when Evloev committed a violation. After a video review, the referees awarded two points to Khloyan.
With this win, Hayk Khloyan advanced to the quarterfinals of the home tournament.
