Official: Benny Joins Ararat-Armenia from Angola

Ararat-Armenia have announced the signing of 29-year-old Portuguese attacking midfielder Bernardo Oliveira Dias, commonly known as Benny. He joins the Armenian club from Angolan side Petro de Luanda.
Benny is a graduate of Benfica’s academy. He also played in Portugal’s top division for Belenenses.
The midfielder spent two seasons in Cyprus with Doxa and one season in Azerbaijan, where he represented Araz-Nakhchivan.
Last season, Benny competed in the Angolan championship. He made nine appearances in the CAF Champions League, scoring three goals and providing one assist.
The new signing has already been included in Ararat-Armenia’s squad for the UEFA Champions League third qualifying round ties against Slovenian club Celje.
