Draw for the second round of the 2026/27 European competitions

The draws for the second qualifying rounds of the 2026/27 UEFA Champions League, Europa League and Conference League will take place in Nyon on June 17. Armenian clubs will learn their potential opponents in case they advance to the next round.

The draws for the first rounds of the Champions League and the Conference League have already been held.

In the Conference League, Noah will start from the second round and will find out their first opponent on June 17. The Armenian Cup winners will be among the seeded teams. Their potential opponents include both teams starting from the second round and ties whose winners must first get through the opening round.

Pyunik will face Malta’s Marsaxlokk in the first round of the Conference League. In the draw for the second round, the Yerevan club will be seeded.

Alashkert will meet Kazakhstan’s Elimai in the first round. In the second-round draw, the Armenian club will be unseeded and could face very serious opponents, including Ajax, Panathinaikos and Braga. At the same time, there are also more favorable options, such as Faroese side Tórshavn.

Armenian champions Ararat-Armenia will face Latvia’s Riga in the first round of the Champions League. If they succeed, the Armenian club will be unseeded in the second-round draw. Their potential opponents could include strong teams such as Crvena Zvezda and Dinamo Zagreb, but there are also more manageable options — for example, the winner of the Lincoln — Inter Escaldes tie.

If Ararat-Armenia lose, they will continue their campaign in the second round of the Conference League on the Champions Path. In that case, the Ararat-Armenia / Riga tie will be among the seeded sides.
