Armenia Women’s Team Lose to Kosovo in Small Countries European Championship Opener

The Armenia women’s basketball team started their campaign at the 2026 European Championship for Small Countries with a defeat.
In their opening group-stage match, Armenia lost to Kosovo 44:72. Kosovo took control from the beginning of the game and went on to secure a confident victory.
Osana Tiritian from Burbank, USA, was the top scorer for the Armenian team. She finished the game with 10 points and 6 rebounds.
Armenia will play their next group-stage match on June 25 against Andorra. The game will be important for the Armenian team as they look to improve their position in the group standings.
