The Armenia women’s under-17 national team have learned their opponents for the first round of qualifying for the 2026/27 UEFA Women’s U17 European Championship.
The draw was held in Nyon, Switzerland. As a result, Armenia were placed in Group B2 of League B, where they will face the U17 teams of Turkey, Andorra and Montenegro.

For the Armenia women’s U17 team, this will mark a return to the international stage after a break. The team did not take part in tournaments in 2025 and will now compete again in the qualifying cycle.
According to the competition format, 28 teams in League A have been divided into seven groups of four. The matches will be played in a mini-tournament format at a single venue. The teams that finish fourth in their groups will be relegated to League B.
League B features 22 teams, divided into four groups of four teams and two groups of three teams. The six group winners, as well as the best second-placed teams, will be promoted to League A.
The first-round qualifying matches in both leagues must be played by December 5, 2026.
The final tournament of the 2026/27 UEFA Women’s U17 European Championship will be held in Finland.
