Armenia women’s tennis team rout Albania and will face Montenegro for top spot in the group

Armenia’s women’s tennis team claimed its second victory at the Billie Jean King Cup in Europe Group III.
In the second round of the group stage, Armenia confidently defeated Albania 3-0. The Armenian players dominated all three matches and dropped only four games across six sets.
In the opening singles match, Ani Amiraghyan beat Kristal Dule 6-1, 6-1. Elina Avanesyan then gave Enki Hyseni no chance, winning 6-0, 6-0.
In the doubles match, Maria Azizyan and Alina Soghomonyan also earned a comfortable victory, defeating the pair of Gresi Bajri and Enki Hyseni 6-1, 6-1.
Armenia will play its next match on June 19 against Montenegro. That tie will decide first place in the group, as Montenegro have also won their first two matches.
Only the group winner will continue the fight for promotion.
Armenia opened the tournament with a 3-0 victory over Azerbaijan.
