Armenian UFC fighter Arman Tsarukyan has revealed who he would like to face on the wrestling mat after capturing a championship belt in Real American Freestyle (RAF). One of his preferred opponents is legendary Canadian Georges St-Pierre, a former two-division UFC champion.
On October 24, Yerevan time, Tsarukyan secured a dominant victory over Dillon Danis at RAF 14 in Las Vegas. The Armenian fighter ended the match in the opening period, winning 10-0 by technical superiority to claim the RAF Crossover middleweight championship belt.
Following the event, Tsarukyan said he intends to continue competing in RAF but is now primarily interested in facing well-known figures from the world of mixed martial arts.
"I need big names, the best fighters. Maybe they can sign Georges St-Pierre. I would love to wrestle him," Tsarukyan said.
However, no agreement has been reached regarding a potential match against St-Pierre. For such a contest to take place, the Canadian former UFC champion would first need to sign a contract with RAF.
Tsarukyan No Longer Interested in Wrestling Jordan Burroughs
The Armenian fighter has also changed his stance on a potential showdown with Olympic freestyle wrestling champion Jordan Burroughs.
Previously, a match against the American wrestler had been considered one of the most exciting possibilities for Tsarukyan. However, the situation changed following Burroughs' surprising defeat to Michael Caliendo at RAF 14.
Caliendo claimed a 7-5 victory, handing Burroughs his first defeat in RAF.
According to Tsarukyan, the American Olympic champion must now prove himself again before a potential head-to-head meeting can be discussed. Arman emphasized that Burroughs needs to regain his position among the organization's leading competitors.
Tsarukyan's Next Opponent Has Already Been Confirmed
Despite his interest in facing St-Pierre, the Armenian fighter already has his next wrestling match scheduled.
On November 14, 2026, Tsarukyan will compete at an RAF event in Abu Dhabi, UAE, where he will face Neiman Gracie, a member of the famous Brazilian fighting family known for his appearances in Bellator and PFL.
The match will take place at Etihad Arena at a catchweight and will not be a defense of the championship belt Tsarukyan won in Las Vegas.
This means the Armenian fighter will make his second RAF appearance in less than a month, continuing to combine professional wrestling competitions with his UFC career.
