A large-scale motorsport project is underway in Armenia: construction of the country’s first professional racing circuit is taking place near the city of Yeghvard. The karting track, named after Daniel Dallakyan, will become an important step in the development of motorsport and motorcycle racing in the region.
Construction work began several months ago. According to the plans, the official opening of the circuit is scheduled for May 2026, while full completion of all project stages is expected by 2028.
The track will be 1,688 meters long. It will feature 17 corners—10 right-hand and 7 left-hand turns—and a track width of 8–10 meters, allowing races in various categories to be held. The project is designed for the operation of GT3-class cars, passenger cars, motorcycles, and karts.
Special attention is being paid to compliance with international requirements: the circuit will be built in accordance with FIA standards. This will make it possible to host official competitions as well as obtain FIA licenses required for participation in professional racing.
In addition to the track itself, an autosport academy is planned to be created within the complex. Young Armenian drivers will be able to train there under the guidance of European specialists. It is expected that this will open real opportunities for them to compete in championships in Europe and the United States.
The new racetrack is intended not only to develop motorsport in Armenia, but also to increase the country’s tourist appeal by attracting international competitions and sporting events.
Current stage of construction:

Daniel Dallakyan is a 16-year-old professional karting driver and an F4 racer from Spain.
He was born in Valencia (Spain), but represents Armenia in international competitions.
With his direct involvement, the first professional racing circuit in Armenia, named in his honor, will soon open.
