Sardarapat Suffer First Defeat of the Season

In the 6th round of the Armenian Premier League, Shirak defeated league newcomers Sardarapat 2-0.
The goals were scored by Rafik Misakyan and Mesamba Bamba. It was Misakyan's second goal of the season, while Bamba continued his impressive run, scoring in his third consecutive league match. He has now netted three goals in three league appearances.
The defeat was Sardarapat's first of the season.
After six rounds, both teams have 10 points. Shirak moved up to 5th place, while Sardarapat, who still have a game in hand, are 6th in the standings.
