Oleksandr Usyk (24-0, 15 KOs) once again proved his superiority over British fighter Daniel Dubois (22-3, 21 KOs), claiming a fifth-round stoppage win on July 19, 2025, at Wembley Stadium in London. The Ukrainian successfully defended his status as the undisputed heavyweight world champion.
The 38-year-old Usyk looked flawless from the very beginning, dominating his 27-year-old opponent. In the fifth round, he dropped Dubois twice. After the second knockdown, the Briton couldn’t continue — the referee declared a knockout.
This bout was a rematch of their August 2023 fight, when Usyk also defeated Dubois via knockout in the ninth round. That result caused controversy, as Dubois’ team argued the referee wrongly ruled out a legitimate body shot that could have led to a knockdown.
Almost a year later, Usyk left no room for doubt — finishing the bout early and once again demonstrating top-class boxing skills. On the line were the WBA, WBO, IBF, and IBO belts — all of which remain with the Ukrainian champion.

In the undercard, Lawrence Okolie (22-2) also delivered an impressive performance, defeating South African Kevin Lerena (31-4) to claim the WBC Silver heavyweight title.
Oleksandr Usyk remains undefeated and, despite his age, continues to cement his status as one of the greatest boxers of this era.
