Nare Arakelyan Becomes European U15 Weightlifting Vice-Champion

Armenian weightlifter Nare Arakelyan (+69 kg) has won a silver medal at the European U15 Championships currently taking place in Kosovo.

In the snatch, the Armenian national team member successfully completed all three attempts. Arakelyan first lifted 90 kg, then successfully managed 95 kg before completing a 97 kg lift on her final attempt. Her result earned her first place in the snatch and a small gold medal.

In the clean and jerk, the Armenian athlete successfully lifted 110 kg and 115 kg. Arakelyan finished second in this discipline.

With a total of 212 kg, Nare Arakelyan claimed the silver medal and became the European U15 vice-champion.
