The Armenia women's national football team played its second friendly match during an international training camp in Jordan. Head coach Mariam Stepanyan's side faced Indonesia, with the match ending in a goalless draw — 0-0.
Earlier, Armenia's women secured a 2-1 victory over hosts Jordan. As a result, Armenia completed its two friendly matches unbeaten, recording one win and one draw.
Notably, both opponents are ranked significantly higher than Armenia in the FIFA Women's World Rankings. Jordan sits in 79th place, Indonesia ranks 106th, while Armenia occupies 146th position.
Following the two results, Armenia improved its position in the rankings, moving up one place and overtaking Mongolia.
The matches in Jordan represented a positive outcome for Mariam Stepanyan's team. The Armenian players managed to remain unbeaten against two opponents ranked considerably higher in the FIFA standings, providing an encouraging conclusion to their international training camp.
