Armenia Women Defeat Jordan in Friendly Match

The Armenia women's national football team claimed a 2-1 victory over Jordan in an away friendly match.

All the key events took place in the second half. Anna Dallakyan opened the scoring for Armenia in the 46th minute, before Maral Artin doubled the advantage for Mariam Stepanyan's side eight minutes later, in the 54th minute.

Jordan managed to pull one goal back only in second-half stoppage time, but the hosts were unable to avoid defeat.

Armenia will play their next friendly match against Indonesia on October 10. That match will also take place in Jordan.
