Armenia international striker Artur Miranyan will continue his career in Israel. The 30-year-old forward has officially joined Ironi Tiberias.

Last season, Miranyan played for Bnei Sakhnin. His team finished 11th in the Israeli league, while the Armenian striker scored five goals in 29 appearances. Miranyan’s new club, Ironi Tiberias, ended the season two places higher, in ninth position.

Interestingly, one of Miranyan’s competitors for a place in the starting lineup will be Samir Farhud Yakubyan, a 25-year-old forward of Armenian descent. He spent the previous two seasons with Hapoel Be’er Sheva.

Artur Miranyan has made 20 appearances for the Armenian national team, scoring one goal.
