Media: Edgar Sevikyan’s €1m move to Israel reportedly already agreed

According to Hungarian insider Öltözőn Túl, Hapoel Petah Tikva are ready to pay Ferencváros €1 million for the 25-year-old footballer. It is reported that negotiations between the Israeli and Hungarian clubs are still ongoing.
Meanwhile, another Hungarian source, GLOBAL Fradi, claims that the parties have already reached a final agreement and that Sevikyan’s transfer is effectively complete. The clubs have yet to officially confirm the deal.
Sevikyan joined Ferencváros in 2024, but has spent a significant part of his time since the transfer out on loan. Last season, the footballer played for Russian club Akron.
After returning to Ferencváros, the Armenian winger made just two partial appearances for the team and was left out of the squad for their most recent competitive matches. Sevikyan did, however, feature in a friendly match against Real Madrid.
Sevikyan’s contract with Ferencváros runs until 2028.
Hapoel Petah Tikva represent the city of Petah Tikva. Last season, the team finished sixth in the Israeli top flight.
It is worth noting that Armenia international striker Artur Miranyan also played in Israel last season, representing Bnei Sakhnin. Miranyan is currently a free agent.
