Trincão could become Spertsyan’s teammate at Al Ahli

Saudi club Al Ahli continue to work actively in the transfer market. The club are in advanced talks with Sporting over the signing of Portuguese winger Francisco Trincão.
According to preliminary information, negotiations between the clubs are already underway, while the player is open to a move to Saudi Arabia. The potential transfer fee could be in the region of €50 million.
Trincão is being considered by Al Ahli as a possible replacement for Riyad Mahrez. If the deal goes through, the Portuguese winger would become one of the club’s biggest signings of the summer.
It should be recalled that Armenia national team captain Eduard Spertsyan is also expected to join Al Ahli. The midfielder is already undergoing a medical examination before signing a contract with the Saudi club.
As a result, Spertsyan could have another star attacking player alongside him next season. Trincão is known for his spells at Barcelona, Wolverhampton and Sporting.
