Armenia national futsal team rises to 15th place in FIFA ranking

The Armenia national futsal team has improved its best-ever position in the FIFA ranking and climbed to 15th place.

After the latest update, the Armenian team has 1255.16 points and moved up eight positions at once. In the previous version of the ranking, published in December 2025 before the start of Euro 2026, Armenia was in 23rd place.

Armenia’s points increase was especially impressive. The team gained 61.06 points — the best result among all European national teams. By this indicator, Armenia surpassed North Macedonia, which gained 60.95 points, and Croatia, which added 48.01 points.

Even Spain, the winner of Euro 2026, recorded a smaller increase — 44.72 points. That was the fourth-best result among European teams.

Armenia’s rise in the ranking came as a result of its successful performance at Euro 2026. For the first time in its history, the team reached the quarterfinals of the tournament, where it lost to Croatia.
