The Armenian Padel Federation and the upcoming sports club Padel Battle have signed a memorandum of strategic cooperation. The document aims to develop padel in the country, strengthen its institutional foundations, and promote the sport internationally.
According to the agreement, both sides will join efforts in popularizing padel, training coaches, implementing digital solutions, and organizing regular tournaments. Special focus will be placed on inclusivity, sustainable development, and youth engagement in sports culture.
The Armenian Padel Federation, established in 2019, is an official member of the International Padel Federation (FIP). The Padel Battle club, set to open in Yerevan in the coming months, will become the first facility in Armenia to meet international FIP standards.
The memorandum was signed by Lusine Gasparyan, President of the Federation and a board member of the Armenian Tennis Federation, and Natalia Kazantseva, Director of Padel Battle, who also serves as General Manager of the LIONS hockey club and oversees legal and government relations in the Armenian Hockey League.
“For us, this is not just a formality but a conscious step toward building a full-fledged padel environment in Armenia. The Federation’s support is a strong signal that we’re moving in the right direction,” said Natalia Kazantseva.
“Padel is one of the world’s fastest-growing sports, and our mission is to ensure its sustainable growth in Armenia. We are happy to welcome Padel Battle as one of our partners,” noted Lusine Gasparyan.
The first joint programs and the official opening of the Padel Battle club are scheduled for autumn 2025.
