The 2025 Summer Universiade Judo Tournament Has Ended, Full Results Kaito Amani (Japan)

On July 26, at the 2025 Summer World University Games in Germany, the judo tournament, which brought together the world’s leading judokas, came to an end. The representatives of the Japanese national team had a very strong tournament, winning 8 gold medals and claiming the team title. South Korea secured 4 gold medals, while Germany, Moldova, and Poland each had one champion. Russian judokas won 5 medals but were left without gold.

In the Russian national team, Armenian judoka Armen Agayan became a silver medalist.

The Armenian national team was also represented at the tournament by two judokas: David Agasyan (66 kg) and Gor Karapetyan (100 kg). Both Armenian athletes lost their opening bouts.
