Donovan Parisian — Hero of a U.S. Cup Match

Armenia U21 national team goalkeeper Donovan Parisian made an impressive debut for the senior team of New England Revolution in the Round of 32 of the U.S. Open Cup.

In the home match against Rhode Island FC, regular time ended in a 1–1 draw. Parisyan delivered a confident performance, making two crucial saves.

He became the true hero in the penalty shootout: the 21-year-old goalkeeper saved three consecutive shots, securing victory for his team and a place in the Round of 16. He was named Man of the Match.

This season, the young goalkeeper has mainly played for the club’s second team in MLS Next Pro, but this successful debut could become an important step in his career at a higher level.
