Inter midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan has become the fifth-oldest playerin the history of the Milan club to score a goal in an official match. This milestone came in Matchday 22 of the 2025/26 Serie A season, when the Nerazzurri crushed Pisa 6–2. The Armenian veteran sealed the final score in the 93rd minute — it was his first goal of the current season.
At the moment of scoring, Mkhitaryan was 37 years and 2 days old. As a result, he pushed out Giuseppe Meazza — one of Inter’s greatest legends — from the top five oldest scorers list. The updated ranking now includes:
- Javier Zanetti — 37 years, 4 months and 5 days
- Francesco Acerbi — 37 years, 2 months and 26 days
- Edin Džeko — 37 years, 1 month and 23 days
- Siniša Mihajlović — 37 years, 1 month and 19 days
- Henrikh Mkhitaryan — 37 years and 2 days
Despite his age, Mkhitaryan continues to perform at a high level and remains a key figure in Inter’s lineup, proving that experience and professionalism are timeless qualities.
The Armenian still has a chance to top this list before the end of the season.
