The first winners of the 2026 U20 European Greco-Roman Wrestling Championship are known

On July 7, the second competition day of the 2026 U20 European Greco-Roman Wrestling Championship took place in Skopje. On this day, the first medal sets were awarded in five weight categories, while the participants of the decisive bouts in five other weight classes were also determined.

Following the first finals, wrestlers from Russia won two gold medals. Representatives of Armenia, Azerbaijan and Ukraine each claimed one European title.

Team Armenia finished the day with four medals: Samvel Terteryan became U20 European champion in the 77 kg weight category, Edgar Petrosyan and Alex Margaryan won silver medals, while Yurik Petrosyan claimed bronze.

After the first finals, Armenia leads the team standings with 88 points.
