2026 European Boxing Championships in Sofia: Day 4 Results

The fourth competition day of the 2026 European Boxing Championships for men and women concluded in Sofia on September 20. Round of 16 bouts were held in most weight categories, determining the quarterfinalists. In the women's over 80 kg division, the quarterfinal bouts have already taken place.
Six Armenian boxers competed on the day. Rudolf Garboyan (50 kg) and Davit Chaloyan (+90 kg) recorded victories and both advanced to the quarterfinals. Lusya Avetisyan (54 kg), Narek Manasyan (90 kg), Artur Sahakyan (65 kg) and Ani Muradyan (+80 kg) ended their campaigns at the tournament.

Thus, after the fourth competition day, Rudolf Garboyan and Davit Chaloyan remain in contention for Armenia, joining the Armenian boxers who had already advanced to the next stages of the European Championships.
