Ararat-Armenia scored three goals against Shirak in the first half and won in Gyumri

Ararat-Armenia claimed an away victory over Shirak in the eighth round of the Armenian championship.
The match ended 3-1 in favor of the reigning Armenian champions.
Ararat-Armenia effectively decided the outcome in the first half, scoring three times. Julio Bueno and Carlos França found the net for the visitors, while Shirak defender Suren Tsarukyan scored an own goal.
Artur Serobyan and Juan Balanta provided assists for Ararat-Armenia.
Shirak managed to pull one goal back in the second half through Rudik Mkrtchyan, but the Gyumri side was unable to change the course of the match.
Following the game, five Ararat-Armenia players will join the Armenia national team: Julio Bueno, Karen Muradyan, Artur Serobyan, Zhirayr Shaghoyan and Araik Eloyan.
In another match of the day, Yerevan's Ararat earned a narrow 1-0 victory over Syunik. Sindou Bakayoko scored the only goal of the game.
