Portuguese defender Gonçalo Silva is leaving Armenian club Noah after two major seasons, during which he became a key figure in the team.
During his time in Yerevan, the 34-year-old footballer played 68 matches, scored 4 goals, and provided 6 assists. Despite a successful career in Portugal and Poland, it was at Noah that Silva won all his trophies: the Armenian Premier League title, two Armenian Cups, and the Super Cup.
Gonçalo was one of the founders of the new team, serving as both captain and vice-captain. Alongside him, Sergey Muradyan also showed significant progress. The club warmly bid farewell to Silva after his contract, which was not renewed, came to an end.
“I am proud of this club because day by day, step by step, it grows. The president gives everything he can. Everything is invested into the club. Leaving is hard, but that’s life. Stages end so that new ones can begin,” said Gonçalo Silva.
