Armenia national team midfielder David Davidyan will continue his career at Rotor Volgograd, insider Suren Meliksetyan reports.
The 27-year-old left Yerevan’s Pyunik this summer as a free agent after spending three seasons with the club. During his time at Pyunik, Davidyan won the Armenian Premier League title and made his debut for the national team, earning three caps.
Davidyan primarily plays as a right winger but can also operate as a right-back.
He has previous experience in Russian football, having played in the Premier League for Khimki and in the FNL-2 for Nosta and Ararat-Moscow.
Notably, another Armenian footballer, Artem Simonyan, also joined Rotor earlier. In the 2025/26 season, the Volgograd club will compete in the Russian First League.
