Davit Chaloyan wins silver at the European Boxing Grand Prix in Czechia

Armenian boxer Davit Chaloyan won a silver medal at the European Boxing Grand Prix held in Usti nad Labem, Czechia.

Chaloyan competed in the over 90 kg weight category. On his way to the final, the Armenian national team representative defeated boxers from Germany and England.

In the decisive bout, Chaloyan lost to India’s Narender and finished the tournament in second place.

A total of two boxers represented Armenia at the European Grand Prix. Ararat Harutyunyan, who competed in the 70 kg weight category, finished without a medal.
