2025 World U20 Wrestling Championships: Day 2 Results and First Winners

On August 18 in Samokov (Bulgaria), the second day of the 2025 U20 World Wrestling Championships in freestyle took place. On the first day of the tournament, preliminary bouts and semifinals were held in four weight categories — 57, 65, 79, and 92 kg, and the champions and medalists were determined in the weight classes 70, 74, 97, and 125 kg.

The U20 world champions were two wrestlers from the USA and one each from Russia and Kazakhstan: Peter Duke (70 kg), Ismail Khaniev (74 kg), Justin Rademacher (97 kg), and Yedizhe Kassimbek (125 kg).
