The IBA Women's Boxing World Championship 2025 has concluded in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. Russian athletes won the most gold medals in the tournament—4 gold medals. Kazakhstan had 3 champions, while representatives from Serbia, China, Turkey, North Korea, and Morocco each won one gold medal.
In the medal standings, Team Russia took first place with 4 gold, 1 silver, and 2 bronze medals. Kazakhstan finished second with 3 gold, 2 silver, and 1 bronze medal.
Notably, Armenian boxer Nune Asatryan became a world champion as part of the Russian national team. Four athletes represented Armenia in the tournament but did not win any medals.
The winners of the World Championship received prize money of $100,000, the silver medalists received $50,000, and the bronze medalists were awarded $25,000. Additionally, quarterfinalists also received a prize of $10,000.
