Al-Ahli come from behind to beat Al-Hazem as Spertsyan earns 7.4 rating

Al-Ahli, featuring Armenia national team captain Eduard Spertsyan, claimed a home victory over Al-Hazem in Matchday 7 of the 2026/27 Saudi Pro League season.
The match ended 3-1 in favor of the hosts, although they found themselves trailing as early as the second minute. Ahmed Hussein Al-Nakhli gave Al-Hazem an early lead.
Al-Ahli managed to turn the game around before half-time. Francisco Trincão equalized in the 21st minute, and 11 minutes later Ivan Toney converted a penalty to put the home side ahead.
In the 45th minute, the English striker completed his brace to make it 3-1, which ultimately proved to be the final score. Early in the second half, Toney had the opportunity to complete a hat-trick, but he failed to convert another penalty in the 49th minute.
Eduard Spertsyan started the match for Al-Ahli and played 90 minutes. The Armenian midfielder registered one shot, delivered two key passes with an expected assists (xA) figure of 0.25, and created one big chance.
Spertsyan also completed 38 passes with an accuracy rate of 86%, made seven recoveries, recorded one tackle and won four of his eight duels. He was fouled twice during the game, while also losing possession 13 times.

Following the victory, Al-Ahli moved to 12 points from seven matches and currently sit fifth in the Saudi Pro League standings.
