Varazdat Haroyan
Varazdat Arshakovich Aroyan is the captain of the Armenian national football team, who became the leader of the team after the departure of the legendary Henrikh Mkhitaryan. A product of Yerevan's "Pyunik," Aroyan made his debut for the national team in 2011 and has since become an integral part of it. Throughout his career, he has played in various countries, including Iran, Spain, Cyprus, Russia, Kazakhstan, and China. In 2025, Varazdat returned to his native "Pyunik" to end his career where it all began, becoming a symbol of dedication and love for his country and football.
