Zhora Sahakyan becomes interim UNF champion: Armenian fighters’ results at UNF 34

The UNF 34 mixed martial arts event took place in Commerce, California, on July 19, with several Armenian fighters delivering successful performances.
In the main event, undefeated Zhora Sahakyan earned the sixth victory of his professional career. The Armenian fighter defeated Holt Felkins by split decision and captured the interim UNF bantamweight title. Sahakyan’s professional record now stands at 6-0.
Pargev Khachatryan also claimed a victory in professional MMA. He submitted Enrique Marte with a choke and improved his undefeated record to 4-0.
Other Armenian MMA representatives also enjoyed successful outings. Christoph Bouldoukian, Eduard Zohrabyan and Khachik Vardanyan recorded victories in amateur and semi-professional bouts.
In addition, Artur Tskanyan won a grappling match held as part of the UNF 34 event.
