European Cups 2025/26 Draw: Who Will Noah, Pyunik, Urartu, and Ararat-Armenia Face?

On June 17, in Nyon, Switzerland, the first qualifying round draw for the UEFA Champions League, Europa League, and Conference League for the 2025/26 season will take place.

Tomorrow, three Armenian clubs will learn their first opponents for the new European campaign. On June 18, the draw for the second qualifying round will be held: Ararat-Armenia will discover its first potential opponent, while the other three teams will learn their possible second-round rivals.

The draw will be streamed live on the official UEFA website.

Armenia's representatives in the 2025/26 European season:

• Noah – UEFA Champions League 1st qualifying round (unseeded)

• Ararat-Armenia – UEFA Conference League 2nd qualifying round (seeded)

• Urartu – UEFA Conference League 1st qualifying round (seeded)

• Pyunik – UEFA Conference League 1st qualifying round (seeded)

Champions League 2025/26: First Qualifying Round Draw

28 national champions will compete in the UCL first qualifying round. The teams are divided into seeded and unseeded based on UEFA club coefficients. Seeded teams will face unseeded ones.

On the morning of June 17, at 08:30 CEST, before the main draw, clubs will be allocated into 6 mini-groups to determine the matchups.

Armenian champions Noah are unseeded and will face a seeded team. However, the Yerevan-based club has a chance to get a relatively easier opponent.

Most favorable possible opponents for Noah include:
Lincoln (Gibraltar), Drita (Kosovo), The New Saints (Wales), Linfield (Northern Ireland), and Budućnost (Montenegro).4

Main draw starts at 14:00 CEST (16:00 Yerevan time).

• First round matches: July 8/9 and 15/16, 2025

• Second round matches: July 22/23 and 29/30, 2025

Clubs eliminated in the UCL first round will continue in the second round of the Conference League. Those who lose in the second UCL round will move to the third qualifying round of the Europa League.

Second round draw takes place on June 18.

Europa League 2025/26: First Qualifying Round Draw

The first round draw will also take place on June 17, starting at 15:00 CEST.

This round features 16 teams split into mini-groups.

Armenia has no representatives in the Europa League due to a low national coefficient. However, Noah could enter the Europa League if eliminated in the second or third round of the UCL qualifiers.

• First round matches: July 10 and 17, 2025

• Second round matches: July 24 and 31, 2025

Teams eliminated in the first round of the Europa League will continue in the second round of the Conference League.

Conference League 2025/26: First Qualifying Round Draw

50 teams will participate in the first qualifying round.

Armenian clubs Urartu and Pyunik are seeded and will face unseeded clubs with lower UEFA rankings.

While Urartu and Pyunik are expected to draw weaker teams, there are still some dangerous opponents such as:
Torpedo Kutaisi (Georgia), Dinamo Brest (Belarus), Željezničar (Bosnia & Herzegovina), and Auda (Latvia).

Second round draw takes place on June 18.

• First round matches: July 10 and 17, 2025

• Second round matches: July 24 and 31, 2025

In the second round, Ararat-Armenia and potentially Pyunik will be seeded. If Urartu advances, it will be unseeded. As with other competitions, teams will be grouped into mini-groups before the main draw, which starts at 16:00 CEST (18:00 Yerevan time).
