Armenia U16 women start European Championship with win over Moldova and loss to Albania

The Armenia women’s U16 national team has started its campaign at the FIBA U16 Women’s EuroBasket Division C.
In their opening game of the tournament, Armenia claimed a convincing 100-29 victory over Moldova. Seline Najaryan was named the MVP of the game after recording 18 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 6 steals.
In their second group-stage game, Armenia lost to Albania 75-89. Alisa Muradyan was the most efficient player for the Armenian team, finishing with 8 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists.
Naomi Kartsayr was Armenia’s top scorer against Albania with 19 points.
Armenia’s women’s U16 national team will play its next game at the EuroBasket Division C on July 9 against Gibraltar.
