Armenia women’s basketball team beat Andorra and reach the semifinals

The Armenia women’s national basketball team claimed its first victory at the 2026 European Championship for Small Countries.
In the second round of the group stage, Armenia defeated Andorra 63-54. The top scorer for the Armenian team was 20-year-old Lea Krumyan from Burbank, who recorded 25 points.
Armenia lost to Kosovo in the opening round and finished second in the group. Thanks to the win over Andorra, the Armenian team advanced to the semifinals of the tournament.
Armenia will face Malta for a place in the final. Malta confidently won its group after heavy victories over Georgia and Albania.
The European Championship for Small Countries is being held in Kosovo.
